St. Patrick’s Day Ornament

Handmade Unique St. Patrick’s Day Ornaments!

This year I wanted to make a different ornament from my past years for St. Patrick’s Day 2011. Each year I like to come up with new designs for a fresh and updated look. After spending hours looking for the perfect fabric I found this unique fabric that mixes clovers with rainbows, this inspired me for my latest quilted ornament “Over The Rainbow”. I new right when I saw that fabric it would be just perfect for my next ornament creation. For this three inch quilted ornament I paired a solid dark green fabric to complement this vibrant rainbow clover fabric with three accent pearl straight pins one gold on the center front and one on the center back of the ornament and then one blue one on the top. The top pin being used as a decorative way secure of the bow in place. I chose sparkly green and pale yellow ribbons to make the bow. With this ornament I decided to keep it simple and not add my usual charm. It is so much fun to create different holiday ornaments which can be used to either decorate your home for that specific holiday or as an ornament for your Christmas tree.
